This beanie is knit from the brim up in delicious sport weight yarn, Rose Sport from Primrose Yarn Co.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 (1, 2) skeins of Rose Sport by Primrose Yarn Co (100% superwash merino wool; 328 yds / 300 m / 100 g). Approx. 280 (320, 380) yds / 260 (300, 350) m of sport weight yarn. Sample knit in size small and colorway Springbrook.
Yarn for the Mohair edition:
1 (1, 2) skeins of House Sport by House of A La Mode (100% superwash merino wool; 328 yds (300 m) / 100 g). Approx. 260 (320, 380) yds / 260 (300, 350) m of Sport-weight yarn. Sample knitted in colorway Apricot.
2 (2, 2) skeins of Silk Mohair by Isager Yarn (75% Kid Mohair, 25% Silk; 232 yds (212 m) / 25 g). Approx. 260 (320, 380) yds / 260 (300, 350) m of Lace-weight yarn. Sample knitted in colorway 69.
A strand each of merino wool and mohair yarn are held together for this pattern. Sample shown knitted in size 1.
Needles: US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) long and dpns.
