A little birthday celebration

Today I’m celebrating my birthday — another year has gone by and I’m eager to see what the next one will bring! This year I’m feeling especially grateful for everyone who has joined me on this creative journey. My year has been filled with a lot of work (maybe a bit too much at times), a lot of knitting, a new book and many adventures. Lately I’ve been gaining a bit more balance in my working life but I have also been casting on more new projects than I even care to admit. So many new ideas are bubbling up and I’m excited to see where they lead me.

But to keep these ideas and new designs coming, it’s your support and enthusiasm that makes it all possible. So I want to thank you for being here — for knitting my patterns, for your kind words, for every photo, comment, and message shared along the way. Being part of this crafty community makes designing such a joy, and I feel deeply grateful to get to do what I love. Designing knitwear has always been about connection to me: the shared rhythm of stitches, the joy of making something by hand, the quiet comfort of yarn between our fingers.
