Cabin Shawl is a trusty garter stitch triangle with a few rows of lovely garter stitch colorwork, looking almost like scales on a dragon. The shawl is worked from top down in one piece.

Cabin Shawl features graphic colorwork pattern, resembling embers from a fireplace glowing like fiery jewels, casting an orange glow on our faces, as we are gathered around it. The heat from the fireplace feels like a soft embrace, enveloping us all in a comforting blanket of warmth on a frosty night. The smoke rises up to the sky like a prayer, carrying our hopes and dreams with it.

The shawl was originally designed for Life in the Long Grass Magazine, Issue 7 - Into the Hills Cabin Living. You can find the magazine and the yarn to make this lovely shawl from Loife in the Long Grass website!
