Spring Socks KAL
There’s something special about socks. They’re small but mighty, practical yet full of potential for colour, texture, and play. I’ve recently found my love for designing socks—watching the heel turn like a little magic trick, feeling the quiet satisfaction of grafting toes, and seeing how yarn and stitch come together in such a beautiful, wearable form. So I thought: why not knit some together?
I’m thrilled to invite you to a Spring Socks KAL (a Knit-Along, if you’re new to the knitting lingo!) featuring any of my sock patterns. Whether you’ve knit them before or are casting on for the first time, this is your chance to join a cozy community of fellow sock knitters. We’ll share our progress, tips, favourite yarns, heel preferences, colour combos, and all the sock knitting joy.
Here’s how it’ll work:
What: Knit any of my sock patterns—choose your favourite or try a new one! Browse all my sock patterns here!
Where: We’ll be knitting along over on Instagram and I’ll be sharing regular updates, inspiration, and maybe a few surprise treats along the way. Use hashtag #SpringSocksKAL25 for your projects so we can see all of them!
When: Starting the first of May and ending June 30th!
Why: Because socks are fun! Also, there might be some prizes at the end… stay tuned!
BONUS: To get you started with a pattern of mine, I’m running a sock pattern sale! With code SOCKKAL you’ll get 20% discount on any of my sock patterns!
If you’ve been meaning to cast on a new pair, finish that second sock, or try a new technique, I hope this is the perfect nudge. Beginners are welcome—socks are more approachable than they look, and there’s a wonderful sense of achievement in your first finished pair. And for seasoned sock knitters, it’s a chance to revisit your favourite techniques in good company.
I’ll be casting on a new pair too, and I can’t wait to see what you make. Let’s fill our project bags (and sock drawers) together. Are you in?
