A diary for all my knitting and making
Tiny Pebbles Sweater
A few weeks back I got an email about this lovely little colourwork sweater and was surprised to see that it hadn’t yet seen the light of day as a single pattern! So I decided to take action and make it one! So, without further ado: Here is Tiny Pebbles Sweater.
My Current Design Favourites
What do I wear the most right now from my own designs? Right now, these four pieces feel especially close to my heart, even in real life. Each one carries its own mood and rhythm, but together they reflect so much of what I love about knitting: texture, thoughtful construction, and that gentle balance between comfort and beauty.
Gingerbread Sweater
Gingerbread Sweater is my new favourite Christmas sweater — the kind that feels just as much a part of the season as twinkling lights, paper stars, and carefully iced biscuits cooling on the kitchen counter. It’s inspired by the joy of decorating gingerbread: delicate frosting lines, soft curves, and that feeling of taking your time with something small and special.
Serendipity Sweater
For a very long time I’ve been loving double seed stitch, or moss stitch, with cables, but now the seed stitch feel so very fresh for some reason. Maybe it’s the need for a little change, maybe I’ve seen more seed stitch around, who knows? But seed stitch is the true champion of this project and the cables are mainly just framing it and letting it shine!
