Gingerbread Sweater is my new favourite Christmas sweater — the kind that feels just as much a part of the season as twinkling lights, paper stars, and carefully iced biscuits cooling on the kitchen counter. It’s inspired by the joy of decorating gingerbread: delicate frosting lines, soft curves, and that feeling of taking your time with something small and special.

There’s something quietly comforting about a balaclava. Seeing the balaclavas take the stage of winter accessories in past maybe 5 years, I have really tried and tried to make my own perfect version.

I’m so happy to share my newest design with you: The Geraldine Scarf! It is everything I love in a layering piece: cozy, lightweight, and endlessly versatile. Knit with a touch of mohair, it has a soft halo that makes it irresistibly warm without being heavy.

Months are turning ever so quickly and here we are, nearing the end of the summer already. Today I have another sort of new pattern to share with you: Blue Hour Socks.

Usva truly celebrates the kind of knitting I return to time and time again—textures that soothe, shapes that wrap and comfort, and yarn that brings it all to life. The shawl was originally designed for Laine Magazine’s Finnish Knits special volume.

Simple socks are often the best socks! I love when I can find a good sock template, with a few well thought through details that I can follow pair after pair - and this, my newest pattern release, is exactly what I love.

Beanie season is still gong strong! In addition to all the socks I have also been knitting quite a few beanies this winter - and yes, there are still some from the previous year too that I haven’t yet gotten quite ready. But today we are celebrating the two lovely finished beanies that are ready to jump onto your knitting needles!
