I’m so glad that the long-awaited release of the April Scarf is finally here! It’s the epitome of Spring knitting in my mind: it’s easy, small, with fun colours and of course some stripes! What more to we really need? Not much, if you ask me.

A few weeks back I got an email about this lovely little colourwork sweater and was surprised to see that it hadn’t yet seen the light of day as a single pattern! So I decided to take action and make it one! So, without further ado: Here is Tiny Pebbles Sweater.

I’ve been working on a dream project on my needles for a while now, and seeing it finished and photographed feels like the first rays of sun in the Spring. Meet the Pehmis Sweater. The name might sound familiar to you, because it’s the Finnish word for soft-serve ice cream, and honestly, that’s exactly what this sweater feels like.

Meet my new favourite beanie pattern! It’s simple, it’s ribbed, with just the perfect deep folded brim. One can never have too many perfect beanies!

There’s a new pattern to start the year! Noël Scarf is generous without feeling bulky, elegant yet easy to wear. It wraps comfortably for cold winter walks and drapes beautifully indoors, making it just as suited for everyday layering as it is for special occasions.

Gingerbread Sweater is my new favourite Christmas sweater — the kind that feels just as much a part of the season as twinkling lights, paper stars, and carefully iced biscuits cooling on the kitchen counter. It’s inspired by the joy of decorating gingerbread: delicate frosting lines, soft curves, and that feeling of taking your time with something small and special.

There’s something quietly comforting about a balaclava. It’s both practical and a little bit whimsical (and sometimes funny); it feels like wrapping yourself in softness from the very first hint of winter. Seeing the balaclavas take the stage of winter accessories in past maybe 5 years, I have really tried and tried to make my own perfect version.

There’s a special kind of magic in Advent knits: the slow rhythm of daily making, the quiet anticipation of what comes next, and the joy of colour unfolding one shade at a time.
